multi zone -p day and conference with presy; 4-17-17

So this week was pretty cool So we had to wake up early friday to travel to Puno and do somethingwith 3 other zones. SO we got to go to the floating Islands and President Herrera was there also which was pretty cool. So it took like 20 min to get out to them by boat and well it was cool being on a boat. So we went to one island and they showed us how they make their islands and well then showed us how they get power with solar panel and just their tradicional boats and stuff. Later that same day we did a bunch of games and stuff with presy and well the next day we had a conference with presy. So we had a good conference and well saw some cool elderes from my group. And well today i got to say bye to one elder going home that was my Zone leader so that was pretty cool.

Here is some information I found when I looked up the islands:

The Uros islands are a group of 70 man-made totora reed islands floating on Peru’s Lake Titicaca. Its inhabitants, the Uros tribe, pre-date Incan civilization and continue to hunt and fish the plentiful land and waters they occupy.
Photographer Enrique Castro-Mendivile captured Andean actors performing a re-enactment of the legend of Manco Capac and Mama Ocllo on a Uros island in early November. According to an Inca legend, Manco Capac and Mama Occllo emerged from the waters of the lake carrying a golden staff instructed by the sun god Inti to create a temple in the spot where the staff sank into the earth. The actors involved in the re-enactment were locals from the islands.
