new area is pretty dope a little hahaha

So the new area is quite interesting cause our closet investigaters to being baptized our married and are waiting for certain papers to come and the guy is always joking around about going a drinking a little alcohal and he cant even drink it cause hes 66 years old and has health problems haha. we are always helping him chop wood and fix stuff around his house haha. we are getting this area to be better this is the best its been for months and well my comp even tho he is going home after this transfer we are working hard to get him at least one baptism here cause he is feeling a little bad about not getting one yet here. and well we just want to get this area rolling again. well im super excited to be working here and ya

6-19-17 - Week 37!

Doesn't seem like he as been gone this long.... but here we are week 37!  Wow, so proud of this kid!

Good Evening Everyone!  

Remington asked me to send out an email on his behalf, so sorry it is later in the week.  He is in his new area now of Sicuani.  He was told that this is the worst ward in the mission plus his companion, Cabral, is going home on the next transfer.  When I asked him what made it the worst he said that the members are them for themselves and don't help out the missionaries.  

So he no longer has anyone to cook and clean for him.  He says they eat potatoes, chicken, and rice in the bishops restaurant,   in the apartment he doesn't have anything to cook breakfast with so its yogurt and fruit usually.  Hot plates are expensive to buy there.  

It is also getting colder there since it is winter time for him.  

If you look on the blog spot I will have more pictures up tonight as well.  Thanks for emailing him and caring about him.  I know he appreciates it. 

new area- 6-12-17

So today is transfers and i get to travel to my new area in sicuani. so This week we have been pretty busy dealing with new investigaters and everything and we had to take over the young men activity on saturday cause the president of the braanch couldnt come but that was super cool cause basically all of them were investigaters except 3 of them and we watched the best 2 years with them then played some ping pong . so thats cool to see, Well so i have a new area in a city called sicuani. its a little south of cusco and i hear it always has thunderstorms cant wait to get thereand see how it is and see how the members are there well i guess thats it for this week and i know that im going to this new area for a reason.

3 fechas- 6-5-17

So good news this week we got 3 people to commit to baptism and another person is thinking about the date still so we should have 4 by next week. Well this week we had a surprise conference with President herrea and he told us that we would not be going to the gran conferencia in Cusco to hear a member of the 70 presendency speak but ok i guess if presy says so but ya all cool all cool. And at this conference i finally got to see one of my compys from the MtC Elder white so that was super cool. one of the first things he said to me was Wow Elder Stevens whove slimmed down quite a bit, i havent seen him for a little more then 6 months so it was actually super chill i got to see him and well means we will be in our sector this last week of this transfer and see how everything goes.

this week in my life- 5-29-17

so ths week we visited a couple of good inves here in Ilave and well got rained on which was cold and got new inves in Juli again. So we visited MArc some more cool kid actually reads stuff that we give him and learns and well he even came to noche misional with friends what a bawler. Well the thing with that is that we didnt have the keys to get into the church building cause the president of the branch left them in the building itself without having a spare set in Ilave. WEll its been quite rainy this week and when it rains it gets cold so its not that fun to be in haha. Well in Juli we have a inves who is the brother of the president of the branch and well he is already coming to church just that we havent ran into him and noone introduced us to him. WEll im doing good and its the final part of this transfer seems to just fly by right now.

chill week - 5-22-17

well not much to write but i will try my best we got FEliciana confirmed this week in Juli and the stake president did it cause they were visiting Juli in order to start rebuilding the leadership there. Well we have a super cool investigater in Ilave his name is marc hes 12 and he came to church with his friend who isnt a member either. And well his dad is always telling us that we need to teach marc and put him on a good path but his dad refuses to come to church and stuff so we will just have to work with marc. welll besides that we had interviews with president of the mission this week and all is well there. WEll have a good week and dont be stinky.

crazy weird baptism - 5-15-17

So this week was pretty normal until SAturday and Sunday.Well Any ways i know some people just want to get baptized for sure no matter what people tell them from this week. Anyways we were supposed to baptize this sister on SAturday but as the other weeks she was locked in her house by her Dad. they think she is a little crazy so we just decided to do it sunday cause thats the day we know the house is open and she can go to the church. Well anyways We got there sunday and her uncle was there so he started talking to us how she is sick and what the chhurch is going to do and how the bible is all this and that. And we just kinda talked to him for a bit then he started saying we shouldnt drag her off to the church. Then she is here ready to go and saying its not anyones choice but hers and so we go to leave but all her family is yelling so we go back into the house. Her mom is screaming something about a sweater in aimara and just doesnt sound good and her aunt is asking if she wants to go or not but hma Feliciana told us to just go to the church to baptize her and well it finally happend and we just kinda shooke our heads after words cause we couldnt really do anything. anyways some people just dont care and want to be baptized.
