This week in Traveling:

so this week started really slow we had to travel to Yunguyo to do divisions with distrito leader and his comp was sick so i got to go out with him and try to get lessions cause its dead in yunguyo for most of the day. then the next day we had to travel 2 hours 30 min to Puno to watch the worldwide broadcast for misssionaries which was quite cool. We will see how my Presidente changes things cause we still dont know but should be good. then we went back to Ilave to work one day. then the next day we had a conference with presidente about stuff and had a little interview with him. that night was 2 baptisms that went really smooth both of the ones baptized are solid converts. then we worked saturday and Domingo we can never get citas but we had to do some stuff for the office about this family that was baptized in april of 2016 their records didnt go through so we did some stuff with that. this p day we rushed to puno and played some court Fútbol until 12 or so. and guess what this week i have to go to Cusco and other stuff for immigration. and last week of my training also so thats fun.

This week in walking in llave :

So not a crazy cool week or anything. Just walking around trying to find new people to teach. so we did that all week. 2 of our invest. passed their interviews and they are getting baptised this friday since we have a crazy amount of travelling to do. So Sabado we walked for around 4 hours trying to find contacts and getting new ones and in total we got ................ 2. ya bad Sabado. So we Went with the ward to this little field where they played volley and we hanged out and got 4 different contacts from just that hour with them. oh and while we were walking iver one of our pensions dogs was out walking around and was so excited to see me and Elder hatfield that she (the dog) followed us to the field and hung out with us there for awhile. We also got to finsih the mission papers of a guy here so thats cool. and its raining a lot. (But unlike someone in Brazil who shall remain nameless) It gets super cold with the rain here.

Remington's new scripture case

2 Kings 2: 23-25
You will need to read it because it shows his dry
humor!  Only Remington would use this scripture!

Scripture from the bible that Remington put on his scripture case!  LOL!!!   He told me don't mess with the prophet!

24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.
25 And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.

January 16, 2017

Entonces this week started off pretty normal just teaching and trying to find more people to teach. then came saturday. started the day with a lesson then we had to clean the capilla for the baptism cause thats wwhat we do in Ilave and got water in it and stuff. after lunch we came back to see if we could get some of the joven investigadoras to the activity that the presidente de la rama was putting on. so we didnt get anyone there but later 2 investigadoras showed up and presidente de la rama tambien and guess what he started to talk about???? The law of chasisty..... One of the investigadoras thought it what englisgh class the poor kid walked in and started to be taught the law of chasity. but afterward we got 3 investigadoras to the baptism and one brought his friend so we got a cita con el. then i was told for sure i was going top baptize the guy to complete the family since his padres y hermano menor son miembros. so he got there and didnt want to wear a short sleave shirt and elder hatfield had only brought a short sleave for him so i had to give him my long sleave and wear elder hatfields short sleeve shirt and lets just say it was a little tight. but it worked and i helped him come unto christ. then today for p day we had a zone p day in our area in the other city tho there is this little beach on lago titicaca. it was fun played some futbal on the beach. and just hung out with the zone.

Saturday was our  baptismo. we had citas in the m,orning and cleaned the capilla at 2 and got the water figured out. Sunday was a pretty normal sunday crazy people selling and we got cat called and these people selling fish dijeron gringos natural. one of the funniest things we have heard so far. then we got rained on so hard we had to stay in the room for the rest of our day. Today our P day we came to puno kinda early and met up with 8 otro elderes to go to a ruin about 30 min out of puno was pretty cool and got to chill with some of the elderes that just joined the zona this transfer. good week.

Happy New Year!!

so first week of this transfer we had to cut a 12 year boy from investigadoras porque he wasnt doing good in school or doing anytrhing that his mom asked him todo. also we have for suree 4 people who are going to get baptized this transfer in ilave. with another 7 or so thast we could get baptized. then we ran into this guy from argentina thatn was trying to get back. it was crazy so he then came to our noche misional later friday and we had to taker him to out pension who is amazing and gave him food then gave him 15 soles to get to the border of bolivia. And we went to Puno for new years and it was crazy at 12. fireworks going everywhere and juist stuff going crazy with fire crackers. one blew up above a car after we watched it launmch from two roofs over level with our head over the road. then we camer top puno this morning and hiked a hill  and then it started raining as we were walking back to the other elders room.
